(Serves 2)
Ingredients:
- 2 cucumbers, cut into large chunks
- 1 celery stalk, cut into large chunks
- 1 kiwi fruit, quartered
- 1 cup pineapple, chopped
- juice of 1 lime
- some sparkling water or coconut water (depending on desired consistency)
Method:
Blend the vegetables and fruit in a powerful blender until smooth. To thin the smoothie out add some sparkling water or coconut water, if desired.
*Tip – You can add some chia seeds for additional fibre, protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
**To increase protein intake add some sprouted brown rice protein powder or hemp protein powder.
